Albsig assures all users that data collection and processing will be carried out only for the reason for which they were sent and guarantees the confidentiality of the data.

By using the website www.albsig.al, as its User, You confirm the authenticity of all data filled in by you, in various formats or forms. By completing any form or form and clicking the “accept” button, the user accepts and grants Albsig the right to use and process the information provided internally, only for the purpose requested by the user, as well as their further processing by Albsig, in accordance with applicable legislation.

Every data subject has the right to request the correction or deletion of data when it becomes known that the data about him are not regular, true, complete or have been processed and collected in violation of legal provisions. Albsig applies the principles of privacy and protection of personal data.

Collection of personal data. Albsig only collects personal data necessary for the administration of the insurance contract, for the provision of customer services, for the provision of new products or services, based on the laws in force (Law No. 124/2024, “On the Protection of Personal Data”.

Processing of personal data. Albsig processes your personal data fairly and only for those purposes that it informed you of at the time of signing the insurance contract, and those that are a direct consequence of the application of the law within the framework of the activity of the Albsig company in relation to that insurance contract. In this context, the processing is based on:

• The implementation of the insurance contract and the processes related to it,
• The implementation of a legal obligation,
• The legitimate interest of Albsig (provided for by law),
• The consent expressed by the subject of personal data.

For processing based exclusively on your consent as a data subject, you may object to or revoke your consent pursuant to Law No. 124/2024, “On the Protection of Personal Data”, (Article 7-Legal Criteria for Processing, Article 9 – Processing of Sensitive Data).

Consent to the use of personal data for marketing purposes. Albsig gives you the opportunity to authorize the use of personal data for marketing purposes (new products and services offered by Albsig or third parties acting on its behalf in accordance with applicable law). You may revoke your consent at any time for this type of processing of your data, with a simple email to [email protected].

Data processing standards. Albsig uses appropriate technology and trains employees with sufficient technical knowledge and ensures personal integrity so that they are able to process your personal data quickly and accurately, based on applicable laws. You also have the right to inform us at any time of any data errors and request their correction.

Time limitation of data use. Albsig processes data for a period no longer than is necessary, unless otherwise provided for by applicable law. Albsig does not retain your personal data for more than a maximum period of 10 years from the conclusion of the insurance contract or the handling of the claim.

Data security and confidentiality. Albsig will keep your personal data confidential and will allow access to your personal data only to our employees or associates who are charged by us to carry out the necessary activities for insurance purposes. Albsig respects and applies insurance industry standards and uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized or unlawful access, use, destruction, modification or dissemination, or accidental loss. Albsig requires and guarantees the same high standards of data security from third parties, which it charges to process your personal data on its behalf;

Data sharing, Albsig may share your personal data with state institutions, or private entities only in the framework of fulfilling the activity of the insurance company, according to the specific legal provisions in force, (a statutory auditor or state body), or a service provider, under the guarantee for the protection of your personal data as Albsig itself, and only for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations or the insurance contract. Albsig may share your personal data with third parties that act on its behalf and under its instructions to inform you about products and services and only after having received your prior approval, approval or consent that you can freely withdraw at any time by a simple email to [email protected].

International data transfer. Albsig may transfer data abroad for insurance and insurance claims purposes. Data is transferred only in accordance with applicable legislation. (Law No. 124/2024 “On the Protection of Personal Data”, Articles 39-40).

Albsig’s responsibility. Albsig and the persons entrusted by the company process personal data in accordance with these principles and applicable law. Albsig periodically conducts training and reviews of its compliance with these principles. Employees who violate these principles may face disciplinary proceedings or appropriate penalties or termination of service contracts. Employees or persons entrusted report violations of these principles to their managers, the Human Resources Department and the Legal Department, as well as to any other competent department.

Right to erasure. As a data subject, you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, when consent has been withdrawn, or when the processing is unlawful, if such a thing is verified.
You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided with consent or for the performance of a contract, and which are processed by automated means, from the controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer them without hindrance, or to request the transfer from us directly, if possible, to another controller.
